Welcome to Diesel Den’s Special Section.

I have been working on diesel engines ever since my dad showed me how to bleed the air out of an ancient Gardner LW engine fuel system at the tender age of 9!
Now with more than 50 years of experience it is exciting to see where the diesel engine concept is taking us with new technology. Apprenticed in a big truck shop in England, a Master Mechanic I trained under often would say “God created diesel mechanics from the best, those that didn’t make the grade he turned in to petrol (gasoline) mechanics”.
Keeping up with the changes is exciting and I am always interested to see how innovation is making CI engines adaptable to the demands of the new millennia and emission regulations that are emerging to combat global warming.

We at Linden Engineering Inc have always repaired all types of small and medium duty diesel engines and we do have the diagnostic capability to scan the big stuff, like International, Cat, & Detroit. Our focus however is the light to medium duty sector dealing with Ford/International 6 and 7.3 litre Vees installed in the F series trucks, the Cummins 5.9 in the Dodge trucks, and lastly the Mercedes/Dodge Sprinter van series that present their own unique servicing challenges.

This page is specifically for Sprinter as it is the newest vehicle that we have taken on to provide service now that many are falling out of dealer capture.

Our experience of working on these vans has been mostly of a “hands on in shop training program” and we have built up a good knowledge base on some of the service problems experienced with 2003 and 2004 diesel model derivatives.

We have parts on hand to quickly fix your vehicle. We obtain parts from a variety of sources so that wheel stop time is kept to a minimum.
If you have a specific problem in the Denver area , albeit individual owner or fleet operator needing help keeping your van fleet running why not give us a call, or drop us an email. You might be glad you did!

In any case if you are a Sprinter enthusiast and experiencing problems with your vehicle you can always contact us for some friendly advice.
